What we do not know
We have not recorded the interest rates, any minimum amounts or any penalty for breaking a bond early. We will not guess them. If you have seen the screen, send us a correction (see the About page).
How to judge a bond yourself
A bond locks your money for 7 days. To decide if it is worth it, compare it with your other options over the same week:
- Bond return: the rate shown on the bond screen times the amount you lock in.
- Company return: your observed nightly profit times 7. The only profit figure we have is β¦4,256 a night for an Ikorodu food spot, about 33 days to pay back its β¦140,000 cost.
- Safety: a bond is locked, so do not tie up money you need for Saturday's rent and bills. See rent and bills.
If the bond's weekly return beats what the same money would earn in a company, take the bond. If not, use the money to grow your business.
Safe habits
- Keep a week of rent and bills outside any bond.
- Never move game money to another player "to hold" it. See staying safe.
